Key for muscle growth in older adults
Protein is not just for athletes. As we age, its consumption is crucial for preserving muscle mass and strength. A study published in the International Health Journal (2025) revealed that older adults who meet the recommended protein intake are 2.16 times more likely to maintain healthy muscle mass and 2.31 times more likely to retain their strength.
